‼️Brisbane Open Water Meet‼️
Nominations are now open for the Brisbane Open Water Meet on 5 September 2026 via SwimCentral.
Nominations close 25 August 2026.
Location is Oz Ski Resort, Coolum. Own transport required. Carpooling sounds like fun.
This is a target/compulsory meet for State Development, National Development and National Squads.

For those new to open water, this meet is in a dam style environment. Water temp is around 21 degrees. Swimmers are wrist tagged and can be tracked while swimming. There are boats monitoring swimmers during the race. The course is a 1250m rectangle.
Distances available are
- 1250m (11yrs to 14yrs, MC open)
- 2500m (12yrs to open)
- 5000m (13yrs to open).
Cost is $55 plus swim central fees.
