Qualifying Times

  • Age as at 16th April 2027
  • Short Course times are not eligible for entry into this meet
  • Qualifying times must be achieved on or after 1st May 2026
  • Entries close 12noon (midday) AEDT Monday 29th March. Absolutely no late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Late entries will no longer be accepted into any Swimming Australia competitions. All entries must be submitted before the advertised deadline.

NOTE: SwimAus strongly advises all participants to check the Start List on the day it is published to ensure your seed times are correct. All care is taken to ensure the most recent times are used, however due to unexpected system delays, this may not always be the case. Swimmers will have a small window of time to submit any changes if needed.

For those who travelled to Melbourne for the School Sport Australia Championships (13-19 years), the Queensland Government has now opened applications for the Grassroots to Gold National Event Grant. The application process is straightforward, and eligible athletes may receive $600 in funding. If you haven’t applied already, it’s worth taking a look.

In addition, if you missed Round 1 of the Australian Sports Commission’s Local Sporting Champions program, Round 2 is now open and closes on 30 October 2026. Eligible athletes, coaches and officials may be able to access funding (up to $750) to assist with championship-related expenses.

As these grants can often be claimed in addition to other sources of support, athletes and families are encouraged to check their eligibility and apply before the closing dates.
